The Position                :           Sr Account Executive/Group Account Executive/Assistant Manager

Reports to                   :           Regional Manager

Location                      :         Delhi

Experience                   :           2-5yrs

Role:

The incumbent will be responsible for developing an intimate knowledge of consumers' attitudes and behaviors, defining and understanding the market category and segments, analyzing competitor intelligence, providing consumer advice and support.

The individual will also be required to handle all initiatives that the company may decide to take up in the specific category/ region/ location. Generating new client base and new market segments will be expected. The incumbent will be required to interact closely both internally and externally with all stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve revenue, volume, yield rate and market share targets

  • Keep continuous track of self performance against stated goals and initiate timely corrective action if & when required 

  • Build relationships with customers and ensure excellent sales/ after sales service

  • Maintain contact with all customers on a regular basis and in a planned manner

Candidate Profile

  • The candidate should be from a good professional background

  • Candidate should have experience in the Delhi market.

  • Should have experience in a reputed media house like TOI (BENNET COLEMAN) / IT/ HT/ OUTLOOK / BI / MALYALAM MANORMA / DECCAN HERALD / CHRONICLE / DNA / CONDENAC (VOGUE , GQ)/ WORLD WIDE MEDIA (FEMINA , FILMFARE) / ANY OTHER LIFESTYLE MAGAZINE 

  • Categories handled so far in Ad Sales - Any (except Retail Clients & Tenders & Appointments clients) .

  • Should have experience of handling prominent agencies like - Group M (Mindshare, Maxus, MEC, Team LG,Mediaedge cia ), OMD, MPG, Lodestar, Carat,  Dentsu, Starcom, Madison, ZO, etc

  • Good education background Should be an MBA (Marketing)

  • Should have handled corporate clients only   Should handle frontline sales only (No back-end sales experience will be considered.Industry - Only Branded Media Companies(English Dailies / English Magazines).
