JOB DESCRIPTION

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY

The AM has a primary responsibility to complete tasks assigned by supervisory personnel and for direct supervision of Consultants in executing projects relating to Oracle Applications and ERP reviews.  The AM has direct, client-facing engagement responsibilities. As a core member of the project team, the AM maps the business process to the ERP implemented and assesses the gaps therein, to provide recommendations in configuration / reports to mitigate risks. Through interaction with client and project team personnel, the AM develops professional relationships that contribute to exceptional client service.  The AM demonstrates the attributes of excellent client service and assists team members in developing technical and professional competency.

EDUCATIONAL & PROFESSIONAL CREDENTIALS

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Commerce / Business Management with experience in working on Oracle ERP environment.
• Chartered Accountant (preferable)
• 5+ years in Oracle ERP related services – Implementation, pre & post implementation reviews, configuration gap assessment, Segregation of Duties review, Functional reviews etc. or Database Administrator (DBA) for Oracle ERP in industry. Expertise in at least 2 Oracle ERP modules.
• Professional Certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional would be an added advantage.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

• Ability to develop and maintain effective client relationships and understand the clients business and project requirements.
• Understanding of business processes and technical skills to successfully develop effective solutions and complete project assignments.
• Prior project management and supervisory skills.
• Understanding of the importance of business ethics.
• Sound project management and job administration skills.
• Strong Interpersonal skills and ability to interact in a team environment.
• Excellent written communication skills & strong analytical skills.
• Must be able to maintain professional demeanor in times of high stress.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

• Experience in Oracle ERP – either as a DBA or as an auditor;
• Understanding of internal control concepts (COSO, COBIT).
• Sound understanding of business processes and their configuration in Oracle;
• Understanding of customized reports configured in Oracle ERP;
• Knowledge of auditing processes and methodologies, including flowcharting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite applications.

Ability to Travel: Travel required based on client requests/commitments
