Description
Our Client  is a global business consulting and internal audit firm composed of experts specializing in risk, advisory and transaction services. 
 
Overall Responsibility:
 
Responsible for execution on client engagements and maintaining a strong relationship with senior client personnel. It is preferable to have a solid understanding of their client’s business and be able to demonstrate technical competence in their product group and industry however telecom experience is not mandatory. Ensure quality and satisfaction on engagements. Must be able to clearly articulate the value drivers of our business, and are responsible for developing opportunities both at existing clients and new clients. Responsible for job economics and for ensuring timely close and billing of projects
 
 
Position: Manager - Internal Audit (Business Telecom)
Location: Kuwait city

 

Required Knowledge & Skills

  • Ability to develop and maintain effective client relationships and understand the clients business and project requirements.
  • Understanding of business processes and skills to successfully complete project assignments.
  • Prior project management and supervisory skills.
  • Understanding of the importance of business ethics.
  • Sound project management and job administration skills.
  • Strong Interpersonal skills and ability to interact in a team environment.
  • Excellent written communication skills & strong analytical skills.
  • Must be able to maintain professional demeanor in times of high stress. 

 

Required Technical Knowledge & Skills

  • Must have in-depth knowledge of auditing & accounting standards along with good technical & industry expertise,
  • Ability to prioritize work on multiple assignments & manage ambiguity,
  • Should have capability of handling audit assignments independently,
  • Strong verbal and communication skills,
  • Solid knowledge of auditing processes and methodologies, including flowcharting
  • Solid understanding of current accounting and auditing principles
  • Solid understanding of internal control concepts (COSO)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite applications 2 

 

Educational & Professional Credentials

  • Chartered Accountant
  • 7+ years of post-qualification experience in statutory audits
  • Certification in IFRS will be added advantage
  • “Big 4” experience in statutory audits 

 

Ability travel throughout the month frequently required based on client requests/commitments
